Who owns and operates this facility?
WindCorp Management Services owns and operates this facility. This is a wholly owned entity of the Windham family who have operated senior living facilities for over 65 years.
What will change under the new ownership?
Overtime there most likely will some changes as is the case with any new owner, but no significant changes are projected at this time. WindCorp is unique in that one of our management principles is to match services to the specific population of the facility. No two WindCorp facilities operate exactly the same.
If I have a problem or concern, who do I contact?
The facility administrator is the primary contact for any concern, but any staff member on any shift can address a problem or relay a message. The owners also live in the Macon area so their presence in the facility will be frequent. This is something new for the facility staff and residents. Everyone is encouraged to speak with the owners regarding any concern.
Will there be a price increase?
The pricing structure of the previous ownership is slightly different from most other WindCorp facilities; however, the current pricing structure will remain in place, and there is currently no price increase proposed.
Will services stay the same?
The answer is yes, the services will remain the same in the short run, but one of WindCorp’s management abilities is matching services with need. An analysis of all aspects of the facility’s operations will be reviewed to enhance or modify facility services as needed.
Will I have any ability to have a voice in the facility operations?
Yes! This is a family operation and every family member’s opinion is important. Resident council meetings, newsletters, surveys, and an open-door policy of all staff will assure your voice is heard and your opinion is welcome.
